本政策适用于您通过本应用使用本地媒体浏览、远程连接、在线播放、应用内交易及相关功能时的数据处理活动。
二、我们处理哪些信息以及如何使用这些信息
在您使用本应用过程中,我们可能会根据您启用的功能、设备授权和实际操作,处理以下类型的信息。其中,部分信息仅在您的设备本地处理和存储,并不会上传到我们的服务器;当您主动使用联网功能时,与该功能直接相关的数据才会在必要范围内发送至相应服务。
- 您主动提供或配置的信息:例如您添加的连接信息、您选择访问或管理的文件资源,以及您在使用交易、会员或其他在线服务时提交的信息,用于实现相关功能并响应您的操作。
- 仅在设备本地处理和存储的信息:例如播放进度、浏览记录、收藏、下载记录、偏好设置、缓存、设备内标识及本地登录状态等,用于保存使用状态、维持连续性体验并支持问题排查。此类信息默认保存在您的设备本地,不属于我们在线收集的信息。
- 联网功能所需的信息:当您主动使用远程连接、身份验证、交易校验、权益同步或其他联网功能时,本应用可能会向相关服务发送设备信息、应用和版本信息、会话或身份标识、交易相关凭证,以及完成相应功能所必需的其他数据,用于提供服务、验证身份或权益、保障安全并履行法律法规要求。
我们遵循最小必要原则处理上述信息,并将其主要用于提供核心功能、保障服务安全、维护服务和交易状态、改善产品体验,以及履行法律法规要求。
三、字幕生成功能
本应用提供自动生成字幕功能。当您使用该功能时:
- 本应用会从视频中提取音频片段,并将其发送至我们的服务器进行处理。
- 字幕生成全程在我们的服务器本地完成,音频数据不会被转发或共享给任何第三方。
- 服务器端使用 Qwen3-ASR-Flash 模型对音频进行语音识别,生成对应的字幕文件。
- 音频数据仅用于字幕生成目的,处理完成后即时删除,我们不会保留您的音频数据。
- 生成的字幕文件将返回至您的设备本地存储,服务器端不保留字幕内容。
- 如您不使用该功能,则不会有任何音频数据被提取或上传。
四、设备权限与本地资源访问
- 相册 / 媒体资料库权限:在您浏览设备中的视频、音频或相册内容时,本应用会请求相应权限。您可以授予完整访问、有限访问,或拒绝授权。
- 文件与目录访问:当您主动选择本地文件、文稿目录或下载位置时,本应用仅在您授权的范围内访问相应文件或目录。
- 权限撤回:您可以随时在设备系统设置中撤回上述权限。撤回后,相关功能可能无法继续使用。
五、数据共享与第三方服务
我们不会出售您的个人信息。仅在为提供服务、完成交易或履行法定义务所必需的范围内,我们才会向以下类别的第三方或外部服务提供数据:
- 您主动指定或连接的服务对象:当您使用相关联网功能时,本应用会按照您的操作与您自行配置或指定的服务器、设备或网络服务通信。
- 交易与支付相关服务提供方:当您使用交易、支付、订单校验或权益同步等服务时,相关数据可能会提供给应用分发平台、支付处理方或交易验证服务提供方。
- 法律要求或权利保护:在法律法规要求、监管机关合法要求,或为保护我们、用户及公众的合法权益所必需时。

- 您可以停止使用相关联网功能;不使用相关功能时,对应数据通常不会被发送到我们的服务。

九、未成年人保护

Welcome to SubPlayer (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). We value your privacy and strive to handle data in a transparent, necessary, and minimal manner. This policy explains: the types of information the App may process when you use its features, how such information is used, and how you can manage and delete related data.
1. Scope of Application
This policy applies to data processing activities when you use features such as local media browsing, remote connections, online playback, in-app transactions, and related functionalities through the App.
2. What Information We Process and How We Use It
During your use of the App, we may process the following types of information based on the features you enable, device permissions you grant, and your actual operations. Some information is processed and stored only on your device and is not uploaded to our servers; when you actively use online features, data directly related to those features will be sent to the corresponding services only to the extent necessary.
- Information you actively provide or configure: For example, connection details you add, file resources you choose to access or manage, and information you submit when using transactions, memberships, or other online services, used to provide the relevant features and respond to your actions.
- Information processed and stored only on your device: For example, playback progress, browsing history, favorites, download records, preference settings, cache, on-device identifiers, and local login status, used to save usage state, maintain continuity of experience, and support troubleshooting. Such information is stored locally on your device by default and is not collected online by us.
- Information required for online features: When you actively use remote connections, authentication, transaction verification, entitlement synchronization, or other online features, the App may send device information, app and version information, session or identity identifiers, transaction-related credentials, and other data necessary to complete the corresponding features to the relevant services, for the purposes of providing services, verifying identity or entitlements, ensuring security, and complying with legal requirements.
We follow the principle of minimum necessity when processing the above information, primarily using it to provide core features, ensure service security, maintain service and transaction status, improve product experience, and comply with legal requirements.
3. Subtitle Generation
The App provides an automatic subtitle generation feature. When you use this feature:
- The App extracts audio segments from the video and sends them to our server for processing.
- Subtitle generation is performed entirely on our own servers. Your audio data is never forwarded to or shared with any third party.
- Our server uses the Qwen3-ASR-Flash model for speech recognition to generate corresponding subtitle files.
- Audio data is used solely for subtitle generation purposes. It is deleted immediately upon completion of processing, and we do not retain your audio data.
- The generated subtitle files are returned to your device for local storage. No subtitle content is retained on the server.
- If you do not use this feature, no audio data will be extracted or uploaded.
4. Device Permissions and Local Resource Access
- Photo Library / Media Library Permission: When you browse videos, audio, or photo library content on your device, the App will request the corresponding permissions. You can grant full access, limited access, or deny authorization.
- File and Directory Access: When you actively select local files, document directories, or download locations, the App only accesses the corresponding files or directories within the scope of your authorization.
- Permission Revocation: You can revoke the above permissions at any time in your device's system settings. After revocation, the related features may no longer be available.
5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal information. Only to the extent necessary to provide services, complete transactions, or fulfill legal obligations, will we provide data to the following categories of third parties or external services:
- Services you actively designate or connect to: When you use related online features, the App will communicate with servers, devices, or network services that you have configured or designated, in accordance with your actions.
- Transaction and payment-related service providers: When you use transactions, payments, order verification, entitlement synchronization, or similar services, related data may be provided to app distribution platforms, payment processors, or transaction verification service providers.
- Legal requirements or rights protection: When required by laws and regulations, legitimate requests from regulatory authorities, or when necessary to protect the legitimate rights and interests of us, users, and the public.
For third-party service providers who access user data pursuant to law or to provide related services, we require them to process the related data with protective measures no less stringent than those described in this policy.
6. Data Storage and Retention
Unless otherwise required by laws, regulations, or regulatory authorities, we only store your personal information for the minimum period necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
If we cease services or operations, we will promptly stop collecting your personal information, notify you in advance in accordance with applicable legal requirements, and delete or anonymize your personal information after the termination of services or operations, unless otherwise required by laws, regulations, or regulatory authorities.

8. Your Rights and Choices
- You can revoke permissions for photo library, file access, and similar authorizations in your device's system settings.
- You can stop using related online features; when you do not use such features, the corresponding data will generally not be sent to our services.
- If you wish to delete server-side records related to online services, or submit a data processing request, you can contact us through the contact information provided in this policy. To protect account and device security, we may need you to provide necessary information to verify the request.
9. Protection of Minors
The App is not designed for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a guardian discovers that a minor has provided personal information to us without consent, please contact us through the contact information in this policy, and we will handle it in accordance with the law after verification.
10. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy based on product features, service capabilities, or legal requirements. Updated versions will be published on this page with the latest update date noted at the top. If updates involve significant changes, we will notify you through appropriate means.
