Welcome to SubPlayer (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). Please read the following terms carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Service Description

The App is a video playback tool that provides the following primary features:

• Browsing and playing video files on network storage devices within a local area network through the SMB/CIFS protocol.
• Recording playback progress and supporting resume playback.
• Membership subscription services that unlock advanced features.

2. User Conduct

When using the App, you undertake that:

• You have lawful authorization to access and play all content accessed through the App.
• You will not use the App for any act that violates laws or regulations.
• You will not use the App to infringe any intellectual property rights or other lawful rights and interests of others.
• You will not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• You will not interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App or related services in any manner.

3. Intellectual Property

All content of the App, including but not limited to software code, interface design, icons, and text, is protected by intellectual property laws. Without prior written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or otherwise use the foregoing content.

The copyrights in the videos and other media files you access through the App belong to their respective rights holders. The App does not assume responsibility for the legality of such content.

4. Membership Services

• The App provides auto-renewable membership subscription services through in-app purchases on the Apple App Store.
• Subscription fees will be charged through your Apple ID account.
• The subscription will automatically renew within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You may manage and cancel your subscription in "Settings" > "Apple ID" > "Subscriptions" on your iPhone.
• Refunds are not supported during the current subscription period after purchase. If you cancel the subscription, you may continue using the service until the end of the current subscription period.

5. Interruption, Suspension, and Termination of Product Server Operations

• To ensure the normal operation of the product servers, we may conduct regular maintenance shutdowns of the application/website servers or emergency shutdown maintenance in response to unexpected events. You understand that such circumstances may cause normal service interruptions or suspensions, and we will make reasonable efforts to keep the interruption period as short as possible.
• Under any of the following circumstances, we have the right to terminate or interrupt all or part of the services provided by the product servers. We shall not be liable to users or third parties for any inconvenience or damage arising therefrom:
  • The server is damaged and unable to operate normally;
  • Sudden failures of software, hardware, or electronic communication equipment;
  • Network provider line failures or other faults;
  • Third-party causes or other force majeure events.

6. Disclaimer

• As a video playback tool, the App does not provide, store, or distribute any video content. Users are solely responsible for ensuring the legality of the content they access.
• The App depends on your local network environment and the normal operation of the SMB server. We are not responsible for any inability to use the App caused by network failures, server unavailability, or similar reasons.
• The App is provided on an "as is" basis without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App.

7. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for losses caused by force majeure. Force majeure under this Agreement includes natural disasters, changes in laws, regulations, or government directives, as well as causes inherent to the nature of network services, such as failures of telecommunications operators in or outside mainland China, defects in computers, mobile devices, or internet-related technologies, limitations in internet coverage, computer or mobile device viruses, hacker attacks, and other objective circumstances within the lawful scope that are unforeseeable, unavoidable, and insurmountable.

8. Improper User Conduct

Users shall bear responsibility for any liabilities arising from their improper conduct.

Any software derived from this software that is not developed or officially released by us or with our authorization is illegal. Downloading, installing, or using such software may result in unforeseeable risks, and all legal liabilities and disputes arising therefrom shall be unrelated to us.

9. Protection and Collection of User Information

Protecting users' personal information is one of our fundamental principles. We will take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. We will collect, use, store, and share your personal information in accordance with this Agreement and the Privacy Policy. Except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations, we will not disclose or make your personal information public to any third party without your consent. We use professional encryption methods for the storage and transmission of relevant information to safeguard the security of your personal information.

We will establish sound management systems by using various security technologies and procedures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

We attach great importance to the protection of minors' personal information. If you are a minor under the age of 18, before using our services, you should carefully read and agree to this Agreement on your own or under the supervision and guidance of your guardian and with your guardian's consent. In particular, if you are a minor under the age of 14, we will process your personal information only after obtaining your guardian's consent.

10. Changes to and Notice of This Agreement

We reserve the right to revise this Agreement at any time. When the terms of this Agreement change, we will notify you through appropriate means within the App, such as pop-up windows or push notifications, or by publishing announcements on the official website. The revised Agreement will take effect immediately upon publication. If you continue to use the App after the changes take effect, it means that you have fully read, understood, and accepted the revised Agreement. If you do not accept the revised Agreement, please stop using the App immediately.

11. Termination of This Agreement

You may unilaterally terminate this Agreement by uninstalling the App, stopping the use of the services, or canceling your subscription in the subscription management settings.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

The interpretation and performance of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from or related to this Agreement shall first be resolved through consultation between the parties. If consultation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with a people's court having jurisdiction.
